Job Overview

Our Client is looking for experienced and proven Sales and Business Development professionals to develop and manage the Sales & Distribution organisation in various assigned Regions.

This is a significant opportunity for proven and enthusiastic professionals

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Sales & Distribution strategy

Identify and address short/medium term strategies to excel in business and stay ahead of competition. Initiate, share and discuss strategic issues for sales & distribution, in order to contribute to the development of the S&D strategy.

Sales

Set targets for the Region’s sales force and monitor, guide and motivate sales management and supervisors in their performance, to effectively manage and control the van sales operation and to realise the sales targets. Visit the market and depots on a regular basis to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.

Business Development

Identify, initiate and organise sales in new market channels in the Region, aligned with other relevant departments. Develop a roadmap for entry into new channels.

Key Accounts

Ensure implementation of agreements with Key accounts, and negotiate LTA’s/Promotional activity, in cooperation with Trade Marketing and maintain good business relations with all parties.

Sales forecasting and reporting

Translate sales plans and activities into sales forecasts in co-operation with Trade Marketing

Quality Assurance

Ensure and monitor quality control of sales processes and practices and use of SEBA in line with company standards and regulations. Recommend and develop policies, processes and approaches for S & D to enable achievement of sales targets.

Human Resource Management

Ensure an effective Regional S&D organization, required number and quality of people, and people management in line with company HR policies, in order to enable the realisation of the S&D targets. . Identify and recommend for promotion suitable candidates for lead and supervisory positions.

Finance & administration

Ensure, in cooperation with finance, that the financial and administrative systems, records and controls are established and maintained for effective administration of the Region and that budgeting and financial monitoring and reporting are done according to Sadafco’s financial policies.

Other Areas of Responsibility:

Logistic operations,  Minimising Wastage,  Merchandising & brand management,  Credit Management,  Security, Asset Management

 

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Third level education.
  • Specific diploma/education in Business, Marketing, Finance or IT.
  • 3yrs+ experience in a senior management role in an FMCG DSD environment.
  • Experience of financial analysis/interpretation.
  • Well developed man-management and Team leading skills.

Desirable

  • Educational level: University, Masters degree.
  • Experience in the ME Region/New Market development.
  • Experience of business information tools.

Job Description

Our client is looking for  a highly experienced Food Factory Projects Manager

Due to the demands of many current and future planned projects we now require the services of an Engineering Degree Holder with 10 years plus experience in a similar role.  Exposure to design, construction and commissioning of FMCG factories and strong knowledge of the most modern dairy technology should be detailed in your application.

You will be IT literate, an excellent communicator with a confident authorative manner to lead a team of experienced Project Managers and Project Engineers.

You will have proven abilities in terms of :-

1. Management and control of Capital Projects up to Euros 200M

2. Representing owners working with consultants and contractors.

3. AutoCAD, MS project, FTP at competent user level.

4. Food Industry standards for Hygienic design and construction.

5. Engineering standards for construction, HVAC, utilities and electrical infrastructure.

6. CAPEX preparation, strategic planning and budgetary control.
