Requirements
Our client has a requirement for a number of hands-on working herd managers in Russia for a very large dairy enterprise encompassing several thousand dairy cows and a very significant land mass dedicated to crops and forage.
Responsible for the management of a dairy unit, the successful candidates will establish performance/ productivity targets and will develop operating programmes for on-the- job-training of local personnel. They will direct the day-to-day activities around nutrition, milk quality, herd health, fertility & breeding, facilities upkeep, machinery and equipment maintenance, record keeping and accounts.
Candidates should be able to relish a challenge, take responsibility and have a minimum of 5 yrs experience in a similar capacity.
