Our client is a major international foods & beverage manufacturing company and are currently sourcing a Product Group Manager to be responsible for the management, growth and development of a rich existing and planned portfolio of products within the Natural Cheese range.  You will establish the core vision for existing lines and future launches and your  strategic plan will be pivotal in realising both marketing and budgetary goals for the company.  Communications with both internal and external stake holders will be crucial to manage the creative process and media plan for each individual product category.

This role will cover natural cheese and therefore prior experience in brand management within a large multi-natural natural cheese manufacturing environment is essential. On top of significant brand management experience there will be additional focus on trade marketing. Therefore the ideal candidate must have relevant trade marketing POS exposure

 

Essential Requirements 

  1. Minimum of 10 years marketing and brand management experience
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience within a reputable food/ beverage environment preferably in the Middle East
  3. Minimum of 4 years brand management experience within a Natural Cheese manufacturing environment
  4. Proven track record in building brands and launching new products

Overview of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical service and market support in China.  The candidate will have superior dairy technical service skills, knowledge of immunology and vaccination programs. The Candidate  must become proficient in milking system analysis and solving problems and providing advice for the key areas of dairy operations.  This position involves staff, distributor and customer training.

Areas of Responsibility

1. Ensure that product claims in advertising and other promotional material meet technical, ethical, statutory and legal requirements.

3. Be a technical service and information resource for the marketing and sales organisation in the office and in the field.

4. Liaise with regulatory personnel to assist in the development and management of registration trials and ensure that registration claims of products comply with marketing requirements.

Requirements

A degree of Veterinary Science or its equivalent is essential.  Experience in large scale dairy farms is essential.  Experience working with cross-functional teams in developing and executing technical strategies, programs, and tactics to leverage market share and revenue targets.  Demonstrated ability to be a team player and organise and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
